Syed Rizvi

With more than 25 years of experience spanning Interior design, hospitality development, procurement, and economic planning, Syed Rizvi is recognized as a trusted advisor and industry leader in the hospitality sector. Throughout his distinguished career, he has partnered with hotel owners, developers, investors, and leading hospitality brands to deliver projects that are strategically planned, thoughtfully designed, and built for long-term success.

Before establishing himself as a respected interior design and hospitality development leader, Syed served as an Economist with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), where he specialized in investment analysis, economic feasibility, and financial modeling for large-scale development projects. This unique foundation continues to shape his approach today, allowing him to view every project through both a design and investment lens—balancing aesthetics with operational efficiency, profitability, and long-term asset value.

Over the years, Syed has led the interior design, renovation, and development of projects for some of the world’s most recognized hospitality brands, including Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton, IHG, and Choice Hotels. His experience spans large-scale Property Improvement Plan (PIP) renovations, hotel repositioning initiatives, brand conversions, adaptive reuse projects, and ground-up hotel and resort developments, managing every phase from feasibility and planning through construction and project completion.

Beyond interior design, Syed brings extensive expertise in hospitality procurement, including FF&E and OS&E sourcing, vendor management, purchasing strategy, and project coordination. His comprehensive understanding of procurement and project execution ensures that every design vision is delivered efficiently, within budget, and in accordance with brand standards and operational objectives.

His portfolio extends well beyond hospitality, encompassing multifamily residential communities, mixed-use developments, retail centers, office buildings, warehouses, and commercial projects across multiple states. Throughout his career, he has successfully led multidisciplinary teams of interior designers, engineers, consultants, contractors, and procurement professionals, earning a reputation for delivering complex developments with precision, integrity, and exceptional attention to detail.
